Extracurricular Entrepreneurship Education · On-Site at Schools · Grades 6–11

In an AI-first world, one skill endures: spotting the gap and building what belongs in it.

BizBoss SA helps South African learners develop the skills and mindset to identify problems and craft profitable solutions — case studies, group challenges, visits from working entrepreneurs, and ultimately a real business of their own. One session a week, after school, on-site at your school.

Entrepreneurial skills can give your child the mindset, adaptability and confidence to build their own future.

Founded by an Oxford MBA and designer of Oxford University entrepreneurship programmes, BizBoss brings the world's best thinking on entrepreneurship education to the SA classroom.

Phase intake — every stage, Grades 6 to 11

Enrol a learner

KidBoss, YoungBoss and BizBoss all take enrolments — tell us your learner's grade and which phase you have in mind, and we will come back to you with session times and the next available spaces at their school.

Phase 1 — Foundations: one term of 8 weekly sessions, ending in a parent showcase where every learner presents their idea.

Phase 2 — Deep Dive: one term of 8 weekly sessions, ending in a cross-school showcase where learners pitch their business for finance.

Every stage runs both phases. Learners can do both, or just one.

Spaces are filled phase by phase — early enquiries get first pick of session times. We only use these details to contact you about the programme.

Three programmes, one throughline

KidBoss, YoungBoss, BizBoss — pick the one that fits your learner

Each stage is pitched at its own grade band and stands on its own — a learner joins the one that matches where they are now. All three run as a weekly after-school programme, on-site at your school — one session a week, eight sessions a term. And every stage runs in two phases: Phase 1 (Foundations) and Phase 2 (Deep Dive), each a term long, taken together or on their own.

1
Phase 1 — Foundations One term, one session a week, 8 sessions in all. Learners find a gap and shape an idea, and the phase culminates in a parent showcase event where each of them presents it.
2
Phase 2 — Deep Dive A second term of 8 sessions going deeper — costing, competition and the plan behind the idea. It culminates in a cross-school showcase, where learners pitch their business for finance.
1+2
Both phases, or just one Every stage — KidBoss, YoungBoss and BizBoss — runs both phases, and each phase is a term long and stands on its own. Do the two back to back for the full arc, or start with a single phase.
How it works

Built around finding, not just learning

01

Case studies

Real business problems, examined for the gaps hiding inside them.

02

Group activities

Ideas are pressure-tested in teams, not worked out alone.

03

Entrepreneur visits

Working founders share how they found and closed their own gap.

Core programme pillars

Eight pillars, explored a different way in every phase

Every BizBoss SA stage is built on the same eight pillars. Phase 1 lays the foundations across all eight; Phase 2 returns to them through new case studies, new group challenges and new founders in the room — so a learner who does both phases meets each pillar from several angles, at a level that keeps moving.
